Hello Connecticut! My name is Emily, what's yours? I am a competitive dancer of 15 years, a competitive cheerleader of 4 years (and 4 more to come in college), and an avid baseball lover!
Elton John is my favorite musician and one of my biggest role models in life, always inspiring me to be the bets version of myself that I can possibly be. I am so excited to use the scholarship dollars that I have earned this year, connect with my community, advocate for my passions, and to serve as your Miss Connecticut's Teen 2023!
My mission this year
Emily is an 18 year old freshman in college who is dedicated to changing the world, one step at a time. After seeing both of her great grandmother's suffer from the debilitating effects of Alzheimer's, she knew that she wanted to help patients and their caretakers all across Connecticut!
Alzheimer's awareness helps to educate people on the effects that Alzheimer's has on patients and their caretakers, and also works to raise money to fund Alzheimer's research so that one day, there will be a cure.
